Handle anchors and shoulder-strap attachment points are pull-tested inline. Zippers are cycled during inspection, and bulk is inspected to AQL 2.5 for stitching, hardware and colour against the approved sample.
Duffel & Weekender Bags — OEM manufacturing overview
Duffels and weekenders are the bags buyers use the most and judge the hardest: handles take the whole load, the base takes the abuse, and the zipper opens a hundred times a trip. We build them for travel brands, gym and fitness labels, hotel and corporate gifting programs and e-commerce sellers, from a 30L gym duffel to a 60L expedition holdall. Work with us OEM, from your tech pack or a reference sample, or ODM, starting from one of our existing duffel patterns and changing the fabric, colour, hardware and logo. Materials & construction
600D Oxford
The default for structured duffels: abrasion-resistant, takes print and Pantone dye well, and holds shape under load. PU or PVC backing adds water resistance.
Cotton Canvas
The classic weekender look. Heavier and more breathable than Oxford; waxed or coated versions add water resistance, and a coated lining is advised if the bag will carry wet gear.
Nylon
Lighter for the same strength, with a softer hand. Ripstop and ballistic weaves suit premium and packable duffels.
PU Leather
For premium weekenders and gift programs. Usually combined with a canvas or Oxford body and reinforced handle bases.
Recycled rPET
Recycled polyester for brands with sustainability targets. If you plan a recycled claim on the product or packaging, tell us at enquiry, because that changes the paperwork the order needs.
Customization options
Most duffel programs are decided by a few details: handle construction and base reinforcement, whether there is a separate shoe or wet compartment, and the zipper size. We adjust capacity, pocket layout and strap padding to your target, and match body and trim colours to your Pantone reference.

What is the MOQ for custom duffel bags?
Sample MOQ is 1 piece; bulk MOQ starts at 200 pieces per design and colourway.
Do you offer both OEM and ODM duffel bags?
Both. OEM means we build to your tech pack, sample or reference photos. ODM means you start from one of our existing duffel designs and we change the fabric, colour, hardware and logo, which usually shortens sampling. Bulk MOQ is 200 pieces per design either way.
Can you add a shoe compartment or wet pocket?
Yes. A ventilated shoe compartment at one end and a lined wet pocket on the side are the two most requested additions, and both can be added to an existing pattern.
Can you match a duffel we already sell?
Yes. Send a physical sample or a product link and we will match the dimensions, compartments, fabric weight and hardware under your own branding. We do not reproduce another brand's logo, label or trademarked design details.
Are the bags water-resistant?
Oxford and nylon bodies with a PU coating resist light rain and splashes. Fully waterproof duffels need a laminated body and sealed seams, which we can quote as a separate construction.
Can you handle orders of 5,000 pieces or more?
Yes. A large run can be split across several of our 20+ production lines. Send the quantity and your target delivery date and we will confirm the schedule with the quote, including split shipments if you need them.
