Tactical Backpacks — OEM manufacturing overview
Tactical backpacks combine a rugged shell with a modular exterior: rows of MOLLE webbing let the end user attach pouches, and the inside is laid out for organised carry rather than a single open compartment. We produce them for outdoor and hunting brands, airsoft and gaming-merchandise programs and everyday-carry lines, in sizes from compact 25L assault packs to 45L multi-day models. These are civilian products; we do not make issued military equipment. Sample from 1 piece, bulk from 200 pieces per style.
Materials & construction
600D / 900D Oxford
Heavy polyester Oxford is the cost-effective default for tactical-style packs: abrasion-resistant, holds its shape, and takes a PU coating for water resistance.
1000D nylon
Tougher and more abrasion-resistant than Oxford, used for premium lines where durability is the selling point.
MOLLE webbing
Rows of nylon webbing bar-tacked to the shell for attaching pouches. Spacing and row count are set to your design.
Hook-and-loop panels
Loop panels on the front or top flap for morale patches or a removable brand patch, a common way to brand tactical packs.
Customization options
Buyers usually specify the webbing layout, opening style (top-load or full clamshell), internal organiser panels and hardware grade alongside the branding. Colourways are typically black, coyote, olive or a camo print; custom camo patterns are possible with a print-run minimum.

Frequently asked questions
Can you make backpacks styled after a game or film?
We can produce a tactical-style backpack to your own design. If the design uses a game, film or brand name, logo or distinctive design, you need to hold the licence for it — we will ask to see it before producing licensed products.
What fabric do you recommend for a tactical backpack?
600D or 900D Oxford for most programs; 1000D nylon for premium lines where abrasion resistance matters most.
Can you add a hook-and-loop panel for patches?
Yes. A loop panel on the front or top flap is one of the most common requests, and we can supply a matching rubber or PVC brand patch.
What is the MOQ for custom tactical backpacks?
Samples from 1 piece, bulk production from 200 pieces per style.
How long does bulk production take?
Typically 7-25 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and the complexity of the webbing and pocket layout.
